Close Protection Operative within the Private Security Industry is a qualification for individuals who work or would like to work as Close Protection Officers (Bodyguarding). It is based on and endorsed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) Specification for Learning and Qualifications for Close Protection Operatives and in Conflict Management 2014.

Open Source Intelligence

Open Source Intelligence is used to conduct employee checks , monitor the security of an individual or location or simply to monitor the actions of a child using social media. All of our OSINT products are obtained using methods that are not considered intrusive and in the public domain , with the result being achieved without leaving a footprint or with an individual knowing that they have been monitored. We have tools available to conduct more in depth checks however , these can leave a footprint or financial implications can be incurred due to the cost of conducting these checks . We often recommend that basic checks are used as this will usually give the information the client requires. We have several OSINT course teaching corporate clients or individuals how to use open source information to build profiles and how to analyse the intelligence gained, to obtain product information, assist with R&D, brand protection or to protection intellectual property.
Our OSINT consultancy can not only identify the areas of concern and highlight threats but also give advise on mitigating threats through OSINT and advising on how a cyber footprint can be reduced. Our consultancy and investigations have previously highlighted security threats to high profile individuals, brand protection through employees using social media platforms, assisting media outlets with investigations, tracing individuals or monitoring the online profiles of siblings to identify personal threats or grooming.
